How to Add Custom Images and Draw Shapes

Upload aerials, site plans, and custom graphics, and draw rectangles, circles, polygons, and lines to outline parcels, pad sites, and boundaries.

Parcel boundary

Upload your own graphics - aerials, site plans, building footprints, custom logos - and draw shapes to outline boundaries, pad sites, and emphasis areas.

Upload a custom image

  1. Click "Upload Image" in the sidebar.
  2. Click the upload zone or drag-and-drop a file (PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP, GIF; up to 10MB).
  3. The image appears at the center of the view - drag to reposition.
  4. Resize with the corner handle (50px-400px) - images keep their aspect ratio.
  5. Double-click to edit styling (background, border, padding, opacity), or hover for the toolbar (Edit, Delete, Save as POI, Toggle Leader Line).

Draw a shape

  1. Click "Draw Shape" in the sidebar.
  2. Pick a shape type — Rectangle, Circle, Polygon, or Line.
  3. Click-and-drag to draw rectangles, circles, and lines. For polygons, click to add each vertex and double-click to close.
  4. Customize fill color and opacity (12 swatches + custom).
  5. Customize stroke color, width (1-8px), and opacity.
  6. Edit vertices — double-click a polygon or rectangle to drag individual points.
  7. Drag to reposition any shape.
💡
Pro tip: Use polygons to outline irregular parcels, semi-transparent rectangles to highlight parking or development areas, and lines for setbacks or access roads. Save commonly used images (like your company logo) as POIs so you never re-upload them.

Example: outlining the parcel and parking

Draw a polygon that traces the irregular lot line, give it a 20% teal fill so the building footprint still shows through, then double-click to nudge each vertex onto the parcel edges. Add a semi-transparent rectangle over the shared parking field and a short line marking the proposed access drive.
