The Nearby Places panel finds businesses around your subject property by name, address, or category. When you add one, its official brand logo is fetched automatically and placed at the correct geographic location with a leader line.
Search and add businesses
- Click "Nearby Places" in the sidebar to open the search panel.
- Search by name or address โ type "Starbucks" or an address; results are filtered by proximity to the subject property.
- Or use the 10 category buttons โ Grocery, Retail, Restaurants, Schools, Banks, Gas Stations, Government, Medical, Hotels, Pharmacies.
- Review results โ each shows name, address, and distance, sorted nearest-first.
- Click one result to add it, or multi-select and "Add Selected" to place several at once. Each lands at its real location.
- The official logo is fetched automatically from a library of 1,000+ brands. A leader line connects the logo to the exact spot.
The Logo Selection Modal
When you add a business, the Logo Selection Modal lets you confirm or customize the logo first.
- Found logos appear in a 3-column grid (icon, wordmark, horizontal variants) - click the one you prefer.
- White logos are auto-detected and given a dark background so they stay visible.
- Upload Custom to use your own image (PNG, JPG, SVG) - great for local businesses not in the library.
- Use Text Only to create a styled text label instead of an image - ideal for small inline tenants.
Example: profiling the trade area
To show co-tenancy for a grocery-anchored center, tap the Grocery category to surface Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Sprouts within half a mile, multi-select all three, and add them at once. Then tap Fitness and Restaurants to layer in Planet Fitness, Chipotle, and Starbucks - each lands at its real location with a leader line, building an instant picture of the daytime draw.
