Built for the retail development workflow
Present the tenant plan
For a ground-up development, place reviewed artwork for proposed anchors and co-tenants, label proposal status clearly, and keep supporting assumptions in the underlying project materials.
Add reviewed nearby context
Search the visible map area and place selected nearby businesses after verifying their locations and artwork. Do not use the map alone to claim demand, market whitespace, or project performance.
Update across funding milestones
When the proposed tenant lineup changes, update the artwork and republish the Pro export for the investor deck.
How retail developers use CRE Retail Maps
A retail development pitch deck can use a visual map to organize the subject property, a clearly labeled proposed tenant plan, and selected nearby-business context on one slide.
Maintain a master map per project through the funding lifecycle. As the proposed tenant lineup changes, update the artwork and reuse the source map for an OM, leasing brochure, or preleasing pitch.
The same visual workflow can be used for a single project or a larger pipeline. Keep market, demand, financing, and investment conclusions tied to their actual supporting analysis rather than the map alone.
Retail developer workflow FAQs
Can I show proposed tenants vs signed tenants differently?+
Yes. Use container color, opacity, and border styling to distinguish proposed from signed tenants, and include a legend that explains your convention.
Can I model trade area and demographics?+
We're a visual mapping tool. For trade area demographic analysis, pair us with Esri Business Analyst or Placer.ai. We handle the visual map; they handle the data layer.
Can I build maps for multiple projects in my pipeline?+
Yes. Each project gets its own saved map. There's no per-map fee at $39/mo - build as many as you need.
What about ground-up sites that don't have an address yet?+
Start from the nearest recognized address or place in autocomplete, open the editor, then drag the subject-property marker to the reviewed site location. The new-map form does not accept raw latitude/longitude coordinates.
Can I share maps with my equity partner or lender?+
Yes. Export as branded PDF or high-res PNG and share via email or include in your investor package.
