How to Add Brand Logos to a Retail Map

Search a library of 1,000+ official brand logos and place them anywhere on your map, then style each logo with backgrounds, borders, leader lines, and POIs.

Search logos…

The Brand Logo tab lets you search 1,000+ official brand logos and place them anywhere - independent of the Nearby Places search. Use it to drop a logo at a specific spot without searching for the actual business, or to place multiple copies of the same brand.

Search and place logos

  1. Click "Brand Logo" in the sidebar to open the logo search panel.
  2. Type a business name — results appear as you type across company names, brands, and common abbreviations.
  3. Click a logo to place it at the center of the current view, then drag it where you want.
  4. Resize with the corner handle (50px-400px) - logos keep their aspect ratio.
  5. Double-click to open the edit modal, or hover to use the overlay toolbar.
  1. Change the image — click the image area to upload a new one or search a different brand.
  2. Customize container styling — background (12 swatches + custom), border (color/width), border radius, padding, and opacity.
  3. Toggle a leader line from the hover toolbar to connect the logo to a real location.
  4. Save as POI from the hover toolbar to reuse this location and logo on future maps.
  5. Delete from the toolbar or with the Delete key.
💡
Pro tip: If a logo isn't found, try the parent company name or a different spelling ("McDonald's" vs "McDonalds"). Container styling is identical across logos, images, and the subject property - learn it once, use it everywhere.

Example: placing a national anchor

Say the OM needs to highlight a new Target two blocks away. Open Brand Logo, search "Target", and drop the logo near its building. Resize it to about 90px so it stands out as an anchor, give it a subtle white container with a thin border, and toggle on a leader line to its storefront. Save it as a POI so the next map in that submarket reuses it instantly.
